Description
A dramatic early 20th century Austrian Art Deco bronze Inkwell of a muscular male holding a scythe with one arm and wiping his brow with the other. The bronze has a rich dark brown patina and excellent surface detail, The work sets on a portoro marble base along with 2 bronze bales of wheat whose lids open and have the original metal inserts. The bronze is signed Bruno Zach and stamped Austria on the base.
