Pair of silvered Art Deco / Modern Classicism candelabra by Elis Bergh (1881-1954) for C. G. Hallberg Silversmiths, Stockholm, a rare model with three radially positioned branches that add a refreshingly unstuffy quality to Bergh’s elegant design, each is comprised of three candleholders have wide bobèche collars supported aloft sweeping branches issuing from a tapering column mounted on a disk base, nicely detailed with a vase-form finial topping the stand and a recurring circle motif repeated in the round/arced forms and the spherical connector fobs and feet.
