Description
American, late 19th c.
Pine with remnants of original white paint.
Excellent condition with weathered surface.
Provenance: From the collection of Frank Gaglio, Rhinebeck, New York.
This imposing size lion’s head was likely from a circus wagon. It has remained in a wonderful state of preservation with an appealing dry, crusty surface.
