"My work questions fate, the cosmos and the system, it is a narrative linking the beginning and the end of the universe. In this eternal cycle, I seek to discover the mystical link where matter and spirit, existence and nothingness, intertwine. My sculpture is a destiny where dust becomes earth, earth turns into iron, and iron is impregnated with time in a predestined encounter. At every moment of annihilation and rebirth, by welcoming the curiosity and subtle truth of existence, I want the viewer to silently take part in my journey"
Moon Chang Dawn is an artist whose work explores the relationship between humanity, nature, and the cosmos. Through his works, he invites the viewer to deeply reflect on creation, transformation, and the infinity of the universe. His artistic approach, blending aesthetics and commitment, makes him a key figure in Korean contemporary art. -
