A curious and amusing Japanese wood kettle hook, circa 1880 on later custom stand. These decorative organic looking hooks where meant to hold a pot over a fire to keep its contents hot. We loved the wear and eccentric shape of the hook. We mounted it to suggest a sculpture of sorts.
