Description
Clarice Cliff (20 January 1899 – 23 October 1972) was an English ceramic artist active from 1922 to 1963. She became a ceramic artist, becoming the head of the factory artistic department. The time she was best know for was the 1920's to the 1940's.
The most famous piece that she designed was this mask called "Flora" which she made in the 1920's till 1930. She also was a great colorist which she used on all her designs of very avantgarde modernist objects, vases, bowls, trays, plaques, mask, candlesticks and many more.
Clarice Cliff's ceramics are in museum's and private collections around the World. -
