Classical, Cast Bronze, Grand Tour, Statue of Seated Hermes, Italy, 20th C.
Cast Bronze statue depicting "Seated Hermes," who is the Greek God of messengers. This sculpture is modeled after the original Roman copy which was discovered in 1758 and is now housed in the National Architectural Museum in Naples.
