French 1st Empire Brass Candlesticks

This pair of brass candlesticks are a wonderful find! Crafted in the distinctive style of Claude Galle during the 1st empire period in France, circa 1810. Three female busts dressed in a Hellenistic style beautifully adorn the stem of the flambeaux above paw feet and a palm frond ornamented base. Quite heavy and of fantastic quality, this pair of candlestick holders will elevate any space. Make sure to view the remaining photographs to view the intricate detail throughout.
