Collection of 17th and 18th century iridescent wine bottles

Price Upon Request
  • Description
A collection of 17th and 18th century glass wine bottles.

These bottles are wonderful gold, silver, green, and blue iridescent. The iridescence is due to the fact that all of these bottles were excavated. Most of them in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Originally, they were just for wine and rum and go by different names, like onoin bottle and horseshoe bottle.

All bottles are in good condition, but needless to say: the iridescence is fragile and can flake.

For sale individually or as a collection. Send me a message when interested!
(The size is for one bottle to give an idea of the dimensions).
