Copeland Majolica bust which features head and shoulders of a woman on a bed of leaves. Sits on a socle base. Colouration: white, turquoise, green, are predominant. This piece represents Clytie the water nymph, daughter of the Titans Oceanus and Tethys in Greek mythology. She was one of the 3,000 Oceanids.

KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to join between chest and her robe. Similar, where hair rests on her shoulders.
