On offer for your consideration we have a stunning hand made and decorated porcelain vase by D. Langford Kühn.
This vase is painted with a scene of four large blue and yellow macaws in the rainforest canopy, the color and delicacy of the scenery is stunning.
One of Kühn's trademarks is the scalloped edge on top. All her pieces are unique in decoration and shape and some took an average of one year to make. Each vase requires layers and layers of painting, sometimes firing as many as five or six times, the pointing is under heat the glaze so colors are more intense. She gets most of her inspiration from nature and living in Florida. - More Information
