Description
Donald Deskey andirons, brass and wrought iron, signed. Brass blade or obelisk motif andirons by Donald Deskey for Bennett. Deskey's design was inspired by the Trylon sphere exhibited at 1939 world's fair. Brass fronts are not lacquered and will tarnish. Both blackened wrought iron shanks are signed Bennett with an impressed logo.

Condition:	Good. Refinished. Brass elements refinished in un-lacquered "Butler Brass" so they will patina. The wrought elements were blackened.
