Ceramic Sculpture "Mask" by Edris Eckhardt, United States, 1945

On offer for your consideration we have an unique ceramic figure title "Mask" made by Cleveland artist Edris Eckhardt.

This piece is one of a group of ceramic that she entered in the Cleveland Museum of Art may show in 1945. The were two ceramic sculptures done in a black glaze with silver and red detailing. One of them was "Fantasy of Night" showing woman on a horse which is now in Kent State University's collection. The other sculpture is titled "Mask" which we purchased from Mrs E.Eckhardt many years ago.
