French parquetry box of specimen woods made in a radiating pattern emanating from the central circle of rosewood. Some of the woods are yew, mahogany, satinwood, fruitwood, boxwood, walnut, kingwood. The geometric pattern continues uniformly on the side and base. Brilliant design.
