Constance Spry was an educator, florist and author who revolutionised the world of flower arrangement. She was an artist rather than a florist and her ground breaking designs were fearless: she took from hedgerows, woods and ferns, even fruit and vegetables if she considered them appropriate for the occasion. Her Mayfair establishment supplied flowers for both the Queens wedding and the Coronation. Spry was also a creative cook and invented ‘Coronation Chicken’ for this event in 1953 - More Information
