Athenic sterling silver vase. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1900. Baluster bowl with asymmetrical scrolled rim mounted with scrolled and whiplash openwork; spread foot applied with leaf and scroll border. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern name, and no. A3888. Very good condition.
