Description
A refined white marble bust of Hermes of Olympia, inspired by the ancient original housed in the Museum of Olympia, Greece. The original sculpture is attributed to the renowned Classical sculptor Praxiteles and is considered one of the masterpieces of ancient Greek art.
This bust, crafted as part of the Grand Tour tradition, captures the elegance and idealized beauty of Hermes, emphasizing the harmonious proportions and serene expression characteristic of Praxiteles’ style. A striking example of neoclassical artistry and a timeless homage to ancient Greek sculpture. -
