Offered for sale is a mid-century modern Guido Gambone (1909 – 1969) glazed ceramic decanter with a stopper. The piece is quite colorful and has a fish motif. The base is signed by the artist and marked Italy. Gambone is one of the most important and influential Italian ceramic artists of the mid 20th century- He was born in Montella, Avellino in Italy in 1909 and moved with his parents to Vietri in 1927. -
