Large German Renaissance silver keepsake casket, ca 1910. Rectangular with leaf-mounted scroll supports at corners. Cover hinged and raised with scrolled tab. On top in relief is battle scene with clashing pikes and swords, the wounded trampled underfoot; castle in background. On sides military trophies in scrolled frames. Gilt interior. Hanau maker’s stamp. Very good condition.
