Attributed to Harris & Company, Boston, Massachusetts, possibly V. W. Baldwin, New York.
Ca. 1875-1895
Full body molded copper, cast zinc head and feet.
Over-all in great condition, wonderful historic surface of yellow sizing and gilt.
Provenance: Private collection, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
In a desirable small size, the eagle with swept back wings is perched on a sphere mounted on a contemporary base. The notable highlights are the well-defined cast head and feet with talons.
