Hugo Rodriguez worked directly with natural materials, allowing them to guide his creative process. His metal sculptures evoke imaginary jungle capriccios. These pieces carry a compelling message about the force of nature and the magnitude of the pre-Colombian legacy in Latin America. This powerful sculpture is a fine example of Rodriguez's work during this period in the 1980's.
