The vessel is constructed using exceptionally fine silver cloisonné wire, a technically demanding and costly material reserved for works of the highest quality. The surface is animated by a sophisticated naturalistic arrangement of iris blossoms, chrysanthemum, and plum branches interwoven with grasses, all rendered with remarkable precision.
