Made by J. Howard & Co., Bridgewater, Massachusetts
Ca. 1856-1867
Full body copper and zinc.
Over-all in excellent condition with no repairs or restoration. Later gilt paint removed revealing the original painted yellow sizing and gilt, now worn and oxidized.
This classic example of an Index horse exhibits exceptional form and proportions. -
