Description
1950's Stitched leather fire place tools by Jacques Adnet
France
A Rare French Midcentury Modern hand stitched leather fire place tools by Jacques Adnet, circa 1955.
Adnet had a rare talent for creating works that had used exquisite form and lines with rich materials. The entire composition is subtly balanced with muted blue leather and burnished bronze . . In all, it creates the perfect balance between the Modern and the Neoclassical.
Literature: See Jacques Adnet, Alain-René Hardy and Gaëlle Millet, Paris, 2014.

Message from Seller:
L'Original Gallery opened as Regis Royant Gallery in 1995, and was first dedicated to french art deco. Now we specialised in 1960’s and 1970’s decorative art. We also work with several contemporary artists and additionally we create our own designs. Most of our pieces are made in very small editions or are one of a kind. The artists featured in our gallery are from France, Belgium and Italy. We also work with many interior designers for whom we create special orders.
