Unusual and early Vallauris pottery twin-handled vase. Made in rich iridescent green lustre glaze made famous by the master French ceramicist Jérôme Massier. Late 19th century. Lovely with flowers but works equally well as an O'bjet d'art.

Jérôme Massier (1850–1916) was a central figure in the Massier dynasty, a family of potters that transformed Vallauris into a world-renowned centre for artistic ceramics.
