Description
Entitled Toujingasa (Chinese Hat). this delicate hand-woven ikebana basket was made by Japanese Bamboo artist Jin Morigami (1955-) circa 2005. Constructed in bamboo and rattan and coated with lacquer, the artist combines pine needle plating and thousand-line construction to create this organic shape piece.
Incised artist's mark to underside. With the original paper box, packing and the printed reference notes.
