Description
This rare 1935 all-original decorative box was designed and produced by John Otar in California. The box features individual triangular brass and copper plates stacked to create a spectacular, twisting spiral form. It is signed on the bottom, Otar U.S.A. Patent Pending. A simular one is in the collection of LACMA.
