    Made by a Kansai karamono basket maker

    Made of bamboo, rattan, and lacquer using the plaiting techniques of “skipping” mat plaiting, woodgrain mat plaiting, square plaiting (base), and bending, wrapping, and knotting.

    Comes with a lacquered bamboo otoshi (water container) and a fitted wood storage box inscribed Karamono tetsuki hanakago (Handled flower basket in Chinese style)
