Description
Large Sculpture of Insect in Flight: This is a large cut-away model of a beetle (on the original base) used for anatomical instruction in a Prague (circa 1950-1959). Model is completely hand-painted and features articulated arms, removable painted cloth wings, functional hinged sheathes, cut-away back and head and rubber internal organs.

Origin: Czech Republic Period: 1950-1979 Materials: Plastic, rubber, metal and cloth Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Dings, fading and other slight blemishes.
