Late 18th / Early 19th Century Wine Cooler. Storage Chest, Rosewood, Rococo Lead Lined.

A late 18th or 19th century rosewood Regency carved wine cooler or Cellarette having a sarcophagus shape that can be used as a storage or dowry chest. The strong and sturdy case having wonderful carvings of grapes throughout. The interior fully lead lined. This is certainly one of the finest on the market.
