This rare and stunning Art Deco Egyptian Faience Glaze Vase Signed Leon Volkmar for Durant Kilns originates from the United States, C.1922. This piece features a timeless composition with a lip that expands slightly and a narrow base on either side of a rounded central body. The base has a slender ring of exposed ceramic, which ends abruptly with a powerfully colored Egyptian Faience glazed surface. This piece has a versatile and gorgeous quality as a result of the color and material presence, and will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Signed on the undersurface denoting the maker. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
