These candlesticks are part of the Art Moderne Desk Set produced by Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces Inc. in the early 1920s; today the Desk Set is more commonly referred to by Tiffany collectors as the "Art Deco" Desk Set.

The gilt bronze candlesticks feature variegated green inset enamel. Circular motifs and a narrow framing groove have been filled with a complementary golden yellow, harmonizing with the patina of the bronze.
