Description
An 18th-century or earlier Italian Grand Tour marble part torso of a man, Rome, on a custom stand. Collected in Florence around 2000 from the noted Romano family in Florence. A fragment in marble of Bacchus or Apollo of a very well carved muscular youth from the waist to his thighs. Mounted on a black marble base. The torso measures 7.25" h x 5.75" w. The measurements listed are as pictured.
