An Elegant and Timeless French Midcentury Modern Molded, Satin / Frosted and Clear Crystal heavy glass vase, model "Ingrid" designed by Marc Lalique France, circa 1964. The work is both dramatic and ephemeral. It's deep cuts project both the sublime and the confident. It is hand-crafted and features petal / leaf like cut outs on four sides which converge to form abstract silhouettes of women. The vase includes the signature "Lalique, France" on the bottom of the base. Lalique is the most well known name in glass since the early 20th century. Their work exemplifies purity, sobriety and distinction. Lalique is an emblem of achievement and understated elegance, as is this piece. Dimensions H 10.25" x D 9"
