Description
Own a bit of kitchen design history!
Set of 8 glass and aluminum vintage condiment/spice containers designed by Margarete "Grete" Schutte-Lihotzky for her innovative Frankfurt Kitchen. Age appropriate condition for the aluminum lids and cork gaskets . Used condition includes patina, scratches and signs of oxidation.
Makers mark inside each lid shown in photos Gebruder Haarer, Frankfurt
Each of the jars are labled on top as follows (as shown in the group photo):
Kummel, Lorbeer, Backpulver, Nelken, Pfeffer, Tee, Vanille, and Muskat
The photo of the Frankfurt Kitchen storage box with bins and jars is only for reference and not included in the set. -

Notes: Bought from a dealer specializing in vintage German antiques who had purchased these with other elements of an early Frankfurter Kitchen around 25 years ago.
