Mexican Sterling Silver Vase with Aztec Motifs

$ 1,675
  • Description
    Mexican, sterling silver vase, showcasing elaborate Aztec motifs, including 3 different ones on the body, standing on 3 feet with figural heads, as well as Aztec-style masks emerging from the top of the vase. The hallmark is slightly illegible, but the vase was presumably made in the 1930s or 1940s. The detailing is rich and vivid. The vase measures 10 1/8'' in height by 3 1/4'' in diameter at the top (overall diameter at the widest point is around 7''), weighs 36.2 troy ounces, and bears hallmarks as shown.
