Description
On offer for your consideration we have a beautiful modernist vase designed by Michael Powolny in 1912.
Michael Powolny was one of the most important sculptor ceramicists in Vienna from 1897 when he became the co-founder of the Wiener Secession until the 1930's with Berthold Löffler, management of the Wiener Keramik, which they founded and whose products "Cceranices" were sold by the Wiener Werkstätte.
The elegant form with the burnt sienna glaze make for an exceptional vase.
