Description
Minton Majolica vase which features three fantail pigeons with wings raised, supporting a bulbous vase. Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, white, ochre, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1482'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1871.
