    Wonderful post-modern studio pottery objects by renowned studio pottery master Joke Stroes for Mobach, The Netherlands.

    Both have a great and unusual design and wonderful luster glaze in hues shifting from purple to red, blue, gray and green.

    Together they make a truly wonderful pair.

    Joke Stroes (1942-2010)

    Joke Stroes was one of the most avant garde studio pottery artist at the Mobach workshop in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Her - yet underrated - designs show a great avant garde mind and hints to post-modernism. Mostly glazed in wonderful luster glazes, these studio pottery objects are real pieces of pottery art. She worked at Mobach for most of her working life - she started in the mid sixties and worked there until the turn of the century.
