Stunnning mid century modern Murano glass vase, handcrafted in the renowed workshops of Murano in Italy around 1960/70. This fantastic designed, dark blue example of a late 20th century Murano vase shows best how creative the artist already were in the 1970s: an absolute timeless contemporary design which searchs for its equal. The slightly twisted body combined with a breathtaking color gradient from dark blue on the top to a clear glass base makes this piece a very decorative one. This unique coloration also creates a faint, light purple glow (see picture #6) around the outlines of this amazing looking Murano vase, depending on the insicdence of light. A true masterpiece of Italian glass art, coming in perfect originla condition.
