Outstanding looking, large (height of 14.8"!) mid-century glass vase from the famous workshops of Sommerso Murano in Italy. Elaborately handcrafted in the period around 1960/70, this amazing designed Italian glass vase with fantastic gradients from a dark red to orange over amber down to a beautiful grey blue tone on the beautiful shaped base. This artfully mouthblown Murano vase is an impressive example of the world renown italian glass art. Like most of our Murano glass pieces, this vase was part of the inventory of a large hand selected collection from a very passionated private collector.
