Description
This charming rooster, 5-1/2 inches tall, is one of a rare group of small bird carvings by an unidentified Wisconsin artist, circa 1880. Pine with vibrant original paint, it was discovered inside a sealed glass vitrine in a Black River Falls, Wisconsin home in 1999.
