Pair Chinese Celadon Vases with Lids

Description
A large pair of Chinese celadon vases with unusual scalloped lids that would be striking both for their scale and their refined glaze. Each vase is tall and well-balanced, with a broad, rounded body rising from a slightly tapered foot to a wide neck. The surface is coated in a soft celadon glaze—valued for its serene, almost translucent quality.
What sets this pair apart are the lids: instead of standard domed or flat covers, they feature scalloped edges, forming a rhythmic, petal-like silhouette around the rim. This scalloping adds a sense of movement and elegance.
Their overall effect is one of quiet luxury—refined craftsmanship, harmonious proportions, and a subtle decorative quality. -
