Description
Fine Pair of George III Period Serpentine Mahogany Knife Boxes, with checkered stringing and original brass handles and elaborate mounts on brass ball and claw feet, the hinged top opening to interiors fitted for silver knives and spoons and inlaid with a polar star in ebony and box wood with further checkered inlay. English circa 1770
