Pair Early 18th Century Candlesticks
-
Description
This is a good example of early 18th century Italian solid bronze pricket candlesticks. The tripartite base is supported by ball feet and is detailed with a hammered design. These large sticks measure 22 inches in height, excluding the pricket. One stick is very slightly off vertical, which is common in candlesticks of this age, considering their many years of use. The bronze as acquired a rich natural deep patina.
