Description
This is an unusual northern European pair of tall altar sticks that date to the very early 19th century. The altars ticks have been repainted in a Swedish or French gray at some point in the past and have acquired a nice patina. The candlesticks are in very good overall condition; there are a couple of expert old restorations which do not affect the value or appearance of the candlesticks. These altar sticks are the perfect complement to a country French or Scandinavian interior.
