Amazing looking, intricately decorated pair of late Biedermeier brass vases from the so-called "second period" aorund 1860 in Austria. This artfully made antique brass vases come with lovely bulby shaped bodies and impress with their extremely elaborate hand chased surfaces showing a lot of delicate details. According to the previous owner´s story this pair of 19th century brass vases has always been family owned and was made by a foreign blacksmith on behalf of her great-grandmother back in the days. A really decorative pair of late 19th century Biedermeier period brass vases with a great history.
