Description
A charming pair of early to mid-20th century Chinese Export porcelain roosters, beautifully hand-painted and decorated in vibrant polychrome colors. Each rooster is presented in its characteristic perched pose and features a lively combination of yellow, purple, blue, pink, red, and brown, creating a wonderfully colorful and decorative appearance.
The finely painted details and expressive forms give these porcelain figures considerable character, making them an attractive addition to a collection of Chinese Export porcelain or decorative tableware. Both pieces are stamped underneath and display beautifully from every angle. Their versatile size allows them to be placed on a dining table, mantel, console, bookshelf, or displayed as part of a larger collection. Each rooster measures approximately 7 3/4 inches high, 5 inches wide, and 3.5 inches deep. The pair is in good condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use. -
