Description
Pair of English glass spiral-twisted candlesticks
English, Early 20th Century
Height 25cm, diameter 11cm
Made in England in the early part of the twentieth century, these elegant glass candlesticks stand out for their beautifully executed twisting spiral design, and the impeccable finish of their elegant geometric shape.
They consist of thin, slender, slowly-twisting stems, atop circular bases, and circular tazza-like bowls to surmount, that open in poised, low, wide circular dishes. Their design is simple yet highly effective with an undeniable charm, that makes them humble yet beautiful interior additions. -
