Description
Pair of tall brass pulpit candlesticks with push-up slide ejectors on round wide dish bases. There are four scribe marks at the top under the bobeche and four sets of two scribe lines along the column. There is one raised section joining the upper and lower section. The push-ups or ejectors are in the lower section. Supposedly, these were used by a preacher to read his bible to his attentive parishioners.
